Eurovision

Christian has a knack for finding fun music. I just wanted to share his latest find--its the winner of Eurovision 2010, the European "Olympics" for pop music. I can't figure out how to buy it in America yet, but I'd love to add this to my workout playlist.

Satelite, by Lena Meyer-Landrut

Its a fun song, and I think she has an awesome accent!

Here's another one from Eurovision 2010 - the Belgium entry, Tom Dice

Her accent drives me crazy! What is it? Australian? British?

She's German, actually, but it doesn't sound like a normal German accent. (Feeling a little silly, oh German scholar?)

I know she's German, that's what's so whacky about her accent. It isn't German and it isn't German doing American, it's something like German trying to do some British/Colonial British something? Or what?

But I do like that she wears clothing, unlike a number of other young pop female singers.

Maybe she was taught English by an Aussie?
